Project Brief:
In collaboration with Berks County Libraries, we produced a vibrant and engaging 30-second marketing video for their SummerQuest program. On a mission to inspire young readers to engage with the library in new ways, this video was crucial in illuminating a wider rebrand of their previous Summer Reading Program.
Berks County Libraries knew video would be an impactful and widely distributable tool to increase engagement with their program. We enhanced their approach with a highly customized video, featuring vivid, playful visuals paired with a child’s voiceover. This approach makes the video not only informative, but also fun and effective for reaching it’s intended audience of children and families.
The true success of this project lies in its versatile formatting. Understanding the importance of reaching audiences across various platforms, the clients decided to reformat the video to suit multiple channels. By creating vertical versions for reel-based platforms like Meta, Youtube Shorts and TikTok, square versions for the Instagram feed, and short sizzler clips for advertising, they ensured a cohesive and widespread campaign.
This strategic approach of adapting the video for different formats significantly amplified its impact. More audience touchpoints translated to higher engagement, making the campaign a resounding success. This project exemplifies how thoughtful video adaptation can drive engagement and achieve marketing goals, offering a valuable case study for potential clients looking to maximize the reach and effectiveness of their own marketing efforts.
