We’ve Got Some Questions For You

By April 29, 2016November 2nd, 2016Whiteboard Animation, Next Day Animations
  • Who is your current target audience? And what do they care about?
  • Where will you be using your video?
  • What do you want your audience to remember three weeks after they watch your video?
  • Do you have any unusual allergies?
  • Have you found a therapist you think is “the one”?

Okay, we’re not really that nosy. But when you call to start a project with us, we’ll ask you a lot of questions. And then we’ll send you a questionnaire. And then, we’ll hop back on the phone with you to ask even more questions. (All before we get into scripting!)

Why?

Because our goal isn’t just to make you an animation.

Our goal is to make you the most effective animation for your particular goal.

Is it hard? Not really. Sure it takes time, but we’re not trying to stump you- and our team is there to guide you through the questions you’re stuck on or haven’t yet considered.

As our friends over at 651 Media (an awesome Minneapolis-based creative video studio) say,

“For us, discovery is not a one-sided conversation. In fact, the most vital element of good discovery is a willing client – one who will spend meaningful time helping us learn about the competitive environment, understand business objectives, digest project requirements, ask difficult questions, and challenge assumptions. These activities always result in meaningful, impactful work.”

They’re so right. A solid discovery period is critical to getting you the best possible video.

So, if you haven’t yet started your video, we’d like to thank you in advance for answering so many questions… you’ll be glad you did.
