Isis Owusu

Isis Owusu is a second-year student at the University of Georgia who created the Single Black Dot podcast to amplify the voices of the unheard and create a community of kids of color in various spaces where they might feel that they don’t belong.
Julia Torres
New York University
I am so grateful to be recognized by Next Day Animations with this scholarship! I think giving young women of color a platform to have their voices heard is one of the most important things we can do to ensure a better future for everyone. This scholarship will help me realize my goals of empowering all women of color through my filmmaking, writing, and art.
