Best Booth Practices: The Easy Way to Loop Your Explainer Whiteboard Video for a Tradeshow

By October 14, 2016November 2nd, 2016Whiteboard Animation, Marketing

If you’re showing your explainer animation at a conference or trade show, you really don’t want to be pressing play every 2-3 minutes. The good news is it’s not hard to loop your video so that you only press play once.

Level of Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 5 Minutes

Step 1: Find Your Video’s URL

First, find the web address URL for the video you want to share.

We’ll use our demo reel as an example: https://youtu.be/L3O5vz6dWWc (Sidenote: That song always gets me pumped up.)

Step 2: Find your Video ID within your video’s URL:

This is the string of letters and numbers that represents a unique code for each video:

https://youtu.be/L3O5vz6dWWc

Step 3: Insert that Video ID into this URL:

https://www.youtube.com/v/VIDEO_ID?version=3&loop=1&playlist=VIDEO_ID

See the two places where it says Video ID? You guessed it, you’ll need to replace those with your unique ID from the original URL.

The final URL should look like this:

https://www.youtube.com/v/L3O5vz6dWWc?version=3&loop=1&playlist=L3O5vz6dWWc

And voila: Click on your link for an infinite loop of engagement and persuasion!
